The Authentix Story - Growth Through Partnership with Private Equity

In 2006, Authentix was a rapidly growing mid-sized technology company with global clients, but needed a partner to help support and augment its growth. Craig Stamm and Authentix senior management identified three primary requirements for this partnership:
* Strengthen Authentix global growth/network
* Access to acquisition capital to secure leadership position in the authentication industry
* Consolidate ownership
Tasked with these strategic objectives, Craig Stamm developed a plan to bring in a global private equity sponsor while maximizing value for shareholders. This plan included one of the first private company "Go Shop" sales procedures in Texas and culminated in Authentix's sale to a group of private investors led by The Carlyle Group.
