Dealmaking is Alive & Well in Philadelphia!

A record-breaking 1,300 dealmakers gathered at M&A East in Philadelphia on September 17 - 18, to source, structure, negotiate and successfully close more deals.
Participants enjoyed two days of conference events from a sold-out golf outing to a successful DealSource allowing for more than 630 private appointments, a Grand Welcome Reception with 750 guests and an over subscribed Private Equity Marketplace with 93 national private equity firms representing $125 billion in capital under management.
In light of the recent financial crisis, one of the event highlights was a lively discussion of the state and future of the credit markets for middle market dealmakers. The day ended on a lighter note with Saturday Night Live comedian Darrell Hammond amusing the crowd with salty jokes and hysterical impersonations of our political leaders.
Save the date for next year. October 13 -14, 2009!
